To allow our photographers to capture the special moments, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. However, we’d love for you to take as many photos as you like during the reception!
Cocktail Hour & Reception
Cocktail hour to begin immediately after the ceremony, followed by dinner and reception.

Please note, our reception will be an adult-only event. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for child care in advance and we appreciate your understanding.
Our Journey
When we first met, we had no idea that our story would take us on a journey across cities, states, and even countries. Our story began in Pittsburgh while AJ was in grad school. A few months after meeting, Damontaye was deployed to Europe for 11 months. Though the distance wasn’t easy, it gave us the opportunity to grow closer and strengthened the bond we shared.

Since then, our journey has been full of change, with life taking us to many locations around the world. Through it all, we’ve always remained each other's best friend and biggest supporter, no matter the distance or the challenge.
​
We are incredibly grateful to have guests coming in from all over the country to join us—just like our travels have taken us to new places, so too will our wedding day bring together friends and family from many different corners of the world.
​
This wedding day is not just a celebration of our love, but a sacred moment where we will make a lifelong promise to each other before God, and we are deeply honored to have all of you here to witness it. Your support, love, and presence in our lives help make this day so special for us.
Getting There
By Car
For guests driving from Pittsburgh, PA, the drive takes approximately 6 to 6.5 hours, depending on traffic.
Toledo is a good halfway point for a stretch break and refuel.
By Flight
For those flying in from out of state, the closest airport to our wedding venue is Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), located in Grand Rapids, MI. It's about a 20-minute drive from downtown Grand Rapids, where our hotel block and wedding location is.

As many may already know, Damontaye will be deploying overseas shortly after our wedding. For this reason, we’ve chosen to focus on a honeymoon fund that will allow us to make the most of the time we have together before he leaves. Since we won’t be settling into our home until his return, this trip will be our opportunity to relax and celebrate our new life before he leaves. Instead of traditional gifts, we would be honored to have your support in making this time together memorable.

RSVP
In order to guarantee a seat at the reception, you must RSVP by March 1, 2025. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate anyone who has not RSVP'd in advance.

Please note, this event is by invitation only. When completing the RSVP, the form will prompt you to enter your first and last name, which will automatically include other guests invited in your party. Please do not bring any guests who are not included on your invitation.
